Inspired by Necessity
After his mother fell on ice, Van Larson developed a non-skid product, the Sure Foot. He and his brother Jon founded the Sure Foot Corporation shortly thereafter and later that year the brothers celebrated their first sale. Since then, Sure Foot has become a leader in the shoe products industry, proving for over twenty five years that great things come in small packages. Our products, inspired by necessity, simplicity and love of the outdoors, are all based on original concepts with value, superior design and function in mind.
Humble Roots
Headquartered in the Red River Valley of North Dakota, Sure Foot remains true to its small business values in spite of rapid growth. We understand both extreme weather conditions and take pride in our Midwestern business values. Although we rapidly became a leading manufacturer and marketer of winter traction aids, Sure Foot takes pride in our use of quality materials, dedicating ourselves to offering the best in products and services to all customers worldwide, big or small.
Product Designs that Deliver
Since the Sure Foot Non-skid made its debut in 1984, we launched a stream of innovative products ranging from winter traction aids to specialty adhesives. In addition to products designed for all-purpose, everyday use, we offer distinct items for the serious athlete, demanding outdoor enthusiast and progressive manufacturer.
